Emerging Media - Morning Forum

I would like to invite you to the second monthly meeting of the new "Emerging Media" Morning Forum, to be presented on the 26th of March. We'll meet at Scott's in Palo Alto*, starting at 8:30am.
This month, the session subject will be "Leveraging Social Media and Web 2.0 in a Product Launch," presented by LaSandra Brill, Manager of Service Provider Web & Social Media Marketing, Cisco Systems, and Wilson Craig, Public Relations Manager, Cisco. In their discussion they will discuss how Cisco leveraged interactive and social tools as well as social-media outlets including Facebook, Second Life, blogs and discussion forums to spread Cisco's marketing message. This is an excellent case study and will offer much information on the actual application of Web 2.0 concepts.
These Morning Forum meetings are being held under the auspices of the Silicon Valley American Marketing Association (SVAMA). We meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month to talk about some aspect of Web 2.0: blogging, podcasting, wireless media, social networks and more. We will be hearing case studies from companies that are utilizing Web 2.0 in their ongoing marketing plans and from suppliers and resources who have capabilities to share and case studies of their own.
